Of Cats Rats and Love!

Watching a cat playing with a live mouse just before it kills it and feeds on it reminds me of how life is. You are the mouse here!! Things are just quiet, you are going about your normal stuff, then bam! Life is on you, chasing you, playing with you….here you think you are getting some reprieve….then it pounces on you and eats you. And its so damn heart breaking! But such is life. Although sometimes the cat just isn’t hungry and will let the mouse go. Just as it is with life. Sometimes things are just so rough, but as they say, it’s always the darkest before dawn. The sun comes out and everything is back to normal…its like a second chance. And you do better. You prosper, because you once have been down, and you know how to get up!

Reminds me of relationships. The person you love the most isn’t always the one for you. Most of the time they are busy chasing the wind, loving someone else, breaking their hearts over other people as you watch. And you just sit there wishing that the fool opens their eyes…..that they notice how open your heart is for them…that you are so willing to take them in with all their shortcomings… because you don’t even see their flaws. To you they are perfect… because you love them. but the fool just doesn’t see!!
